Since graduating from the renowned Documentary Photography course in Newport, led by Magnum Photographer David Hurn, Alistair has worked as a photographer for the national press and corporate clients.
Known for his ability to take control of a situation whilst putting people at their ease, he has over 25 years experience of working for titles such as The Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, The Times and various national women's magazines, who send him all over the country from his base in Cardiff to illustrate features.
Transferring his editorial skills he also works as a film and TV stills photographer, capturing live action and stunts - notably on the BBC series Casualty.
Alistair thrives on the unpredictability of parts of his job - whether meeting press deadlines, creating 'something out of nothing' or securing all those perfect shots during filming.
